Robyn L.K Pfahl

Robyn Lauren Kopple Pfahl has an extensive procurement, grants and contracts career spanning over 20 years, specializing in government contracts across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business Management and a Juris Doctorate with certificates in Environmental Law and Native Hawaiian Law. Her unique blend of expertise has made her a sought-after leader in sustainable procurement programs for the past decade. Robyn approaches contract management with enthusiasm and collaboration, crafting creative, synergistic strategies that emphasize accountability and compliance.

 

Currently based on a permaculture farm in Montana, she operates two firms—Pono Resolutions in Hawaii and Granite Law in Montana. Additionally, Robyn serves as the Executive Director of an international nonprofit headquartered in Hawaii, which facilitates connections and resources for sustainable global projects.

 

Her experience in procurement extends to training and workshop development, where she shares her passion for using procurement as a tool to drive sustainable initiatives and ensure responsible use of taxpayer dollars. In her service to the state of Hawaii, she held various roles as a procurement expert, facilitator, and attorney, including as the state's first Farm to School Coordinator under the Department of Agriculture. In that role, she worked closely with farmers, distributors, schools, hospitals, and the Department of Defense, focusing on food security, economic stability, and cultural relevance through innovative procurement solutions.
